FOUNDER'S STORY
Mgr. Tereza Korejtková

PASSION
Since childhood, I have had an endless passion for the cuisine – I loved watching the dough being mixed, helping out as much as I could, and most importantly, tasting every new creation.
My baking skills were also complemented by my inherited technical and construction skills, so even in elementary school I was drawing meticulous plans of my dream café, with every detail from the bar to the last chair.
And maybe it started even earlier - in kindergarten, when the greatest luxury was to "cook" goodies from sand, clay, leaves, and everything else that nature had to offer, and serve them with pride, as if it was a holiday dessert.
INSPIRATION
My family and closest friends became my first and most important source of inspiration – they always encouraged me to pursue what I loved and fearlessly tested all new creations, even if they didn't always turn out as planned.
Another impetus came from extensive travel around Europe, where I appreciated local history and the world of wine, discovering the diverse tastes, aromas, and types of pastries in different countries.
The main inspiration for focusing on alternative ingredients was my personal story of discovering food intolerances that affected three generations of my family, which motivated me to create treats that everyone can safely taste.

THE WAY
I originally thought that my baking would just remain a great personal hobby that I enjoy at my home kitchen.
But fate intervened unexpectedly. Years later, I was fired from my first big corporate job, which gave me time to think: why not make my passion a reality? I decided to officially start baking and start a business called Cukroví z Nuslí.
Here we are after a few years - I'm incredibly proud of how my little brand continues to grow, and I hope you'll help us expand even more, and one day we'll open my dream pastry shop together.
